If you have a terminal app installed on your device, such as the Mac OS X / macOS Terminal, Hermes Terminal, SyncTERM, ZTerm, etc., click on the above image to telnet to the Armageddon BBS. Clicking on the above image should result in your terminal/telnet client starting on your computer, if everything is set up properly on your end. This is normal behavior, so don't be alarmed when your terminal/client runs.

256-Color ANSI Codes Palette for Your BBS

In the table below, the first column is the hex value of the color, This is the code you would type in an HTML document in order to display your text in a particular color. Insofar as BBSing is concerned, it is the second column which is more important to us, because this is the actual code that you would type in an ANSI file for your BBS in order to display those colors either in your BBS ANSI graphic, or perhaps in a BBS message forum post where you want to use pretty colors instead of just white on black.

Please note that in this table, I have used a "less than" symbol together with a left bracket to imitate the keyboard modifier keys you would use on your computer to create the little arrow and left bracket in your ANSI codes. In reality, on a machine running macOS, you would actually hold down the control key while simultaneously typing the left bracket. After that, you would let go of both keys and simply type out the rest of the code for that color, meaning the numbers and the semicolons, followed by the little "m".

Different Versions of the SheepShaver Mac PPC Emulator

Click the blue link on the left side to download that particular file. If you have any questions or problems with installing and using SheepShaver, please refer to the Emaculation SheepShaver Forum. People such as Cat_7, Ronald P. Regensburg and ClockWise will be happy to help you with installing SheepShaver directly on a recent macOS machine, or in a virtual machine on older versions of Mac OS X.

IMPORTANT: Please note that using SheepShaver does require that you have a compatible ROM file, as well as a retail version of a Classic Mac OS install CD, or else an install CD disk image. Due to legal reasons, I am not able to provide them here. However, Google is your friend, and if you search hard enough, you WILL find that which you seek.
